The Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support ( ACLS ) course is a two-day, intensive program with training sessions incorporating the latest guidelines by the American Heart Association (AHA) was conducted in Hyderabad on 6 th and 7 th January 2010. The course was designed to provide participants with the knowledge and skills identified by the AHA to participate in an actual resuscitation of an adult in cardiac or respiratory distress.
The course was open for Physicians, nurses and paramedics. The participants took part in hands-on workshops with the instructors on the lines of the latest ACLS guidelines. Participants who successfully passed the course were given American Heart Association's ACLS Course Completion Cards which is valid for two years. The course was sponsored by Resurrection Healthcare Training Center , Chicago , Illinois and organized by Science Health Allied Research Education (SHARE) and Gandhi Medical College Alumni Association. |
