Dr. Dharmapuri Vidyasagar President Dr Vidyasagar Dharmapuri, MD, is a board certified Pediatrician and Neonatologist. Presently, he is the Director of Neonatology and Professor of Pediatrics at the College of Medicine- University of Illinois, Chicago. He is known for developing a training program in Neonatology at the University of Illinois, which is renowned internationally. He has successfully trained several Neonatologists in the US as well as overseas. Dr Vidyasagar Dharmapuri is a well-recognized academician, with numerous publications in peer-reviewed journals to his credit.
Dr Vijay V. Yeldandi Secretary General Dr Vijay Yeldandi is the Program Director of the Resurrection-Westlake Internal Medicine Residency Training Program in Melrose Park, Illinois. As an Infectious Diseases Clinician, his major interest has been HIV/AIDS and transplant patients. He is the founder of MediCiti Immunology & Infectious Disease Research Institute (Miidri) and one of the founding members of SHARE MediCiti. This institute does research in infectious diseases including HIV in rural India; this research has been presented at international conferences. www.ichhaindia.org. Dr. Yeldandi has testified as an expert witness for HIV AIDS in India at a hearing of the United States Congress “House Committee on International Relations Subcommittee on Asia and the Pacific” on 21 July, 2004.

Dr. P. KugananthamHonorary Chairman Dr Kuganantham is the City Chief Health Officer for the Chennai Metropolitan City Corporation. He worked as a Project Officer of CDC and UNICEF for 6 years, and as the Director of the Communicable Diseases Hospital in Chennai. Among many of his accomplishments are- the discovery of a new strain of Vibrio-Cholera in 1992 and the development of a new concept for Integrated Counseling and Testing Centers of NACO. He has also presented several papers at World Health Organization meetings, published articles in India and International journals, and authored books on health to be used in schools. He published an operative manual on “Public Health for Public Health Managers”. Dr Kuganantham represented India in the WHO meeting on the “Prevention of Mother to Child Transmission” in 2006, in Geneva.
Dr. Ganesh Oruganti Director , Public Health Dr Ganesh Oruganti, MD, is a Microbiologist. He was the founder Director of Department of Laboratory Medicine, Director of Department of Transfusion Medicine, Chairman- Infection Control Committee- MediCiti - Hyderabad for over a decade (1997-2007). Dr Ganesh also worked as the Associate Professor Microbiology, MIMS and Director Lab services at AL- Tadaman National Clinic, Riyadh, and KSA. He also served under various capacities at Medwin Hospitals, Gandhi Medical College and National Institute of Nutrition, Hyderabad Dr. John Schneider Vice President Global Health Dr. Schneider is the Director of Global Health Programs and Instructor of Medicine - Department of Medicine at the University of Chicago. His interdisciplinary research employs qualitative interviews, cross-sectional, longitudinal surveys to examine Human Immunodeficiency and Herpes Simplex Virus prevention and transmission dynamics in Asia, ways to operationalize improved prevention and treatment strategies in resource restricted settings. Dr Schneider completed some of the first examinations of sexual networks of tribal and truck drivers from a general representative sample in India. He has close affiliations with public health education and training in India and oversees, as well as a transport sector clinic in Southern India. Dr. K Vijayaraghavan Vice President Research Dr. K. Vijayaraghavan is a post graduate in Community Health from the University of London, and Applied Nutrition from the Osmania University. He is the Director-Research, SHARE-India of the MediCiti group of institutions. He worked as Officer in charge of NNMB and Head of the Division of Community studies, National Institute of Nutrition; he also worked as a consultant for the WHO, FAO, USAID, UNICEF, CARE, CINI and as a member of several advisory committees for the Government of India. He has published about 150 peer-reviewed publications in national and international journals, chapters in books, monographs and technical reports. He was awarded the M.K.Seshadri ICMR Award for his contributions in Community Medicine, Dr.S.G.Srikantia Memorial Oration Award of Nutrition Society of India and Prof. Rajammal Devadas Award from Avinashilingam University. Dr. Vishnu Chundi Treasurer Born on the 20th of August 1963, Dr Vishnu Chundi is married to Janita and has 2 Children, Vaishali and Jai. He is a Medical Graduate from Siddhartha Medical College Vijayawada, India. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the Grant Hospital in 1992 and later completed a fellowship in Infectious Disease in 1995 at the Rush Cook County. Dr.Chundi has widely published scientific articles on Malaria, Cryptococcus, Histoplasmosis and HIV.
Dr. Manjunath Dinaker Vice President - Clinical Programs Dr. Dinaker completed his post graduation from PGI, Chandigarh.He is currently the Director, Department of Internal Medicine and Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) at MediCiti Hospitals, Hyderabad. He is also the Associate Professor of Medicine at MediCiti Institute of Medical Sciences, Ghanpur.
Dr. Jammy Guru Rajesh Associate Project Director After completing MBBS from Karnataka University and MBA (Health Management) from Institute of Health Management Research, Jaipur, Dr Jammy Rajesh worked as Senior Research Officer & Consultant at Foundation for Research in Health Systems, Bangalore for 2 years where he designed, implemented and documented various research studies / projects and took up consultancy assignments in public health issues like - RCH, HIV/AIDS, TB, Microfinance, costing, training needs assessments etc. Later to that he worked as Program Coordinator (M&E) at Breakthrough, a Delhi based Human Rights organization where in he established and undertook monitoring and evaluation activities for HIV/AIDS gender and rights based program (Mass media and interpersonal communication against stigma faced by Women living with HIV/AIDS). He was a fellow of Clinical and Leadership in HIV, Government Hospital of Thoracic Medicine (GHTM) Tambaram, Chennai (November 2006-November 2007). This is an intensive, one year-long field-based clinical fellowship conducted by I-TECH and CDC in the premises of GHTM.
Ms Revina Suhasini Samuel Executive Administrator Revina heads the Human Resources and Administration department. With a vast experience in HR she has been actively involved in strategic organizational development, instilling positive work culture in the organization and Improving overall workplace morale. Revina has been instrumental in streamlining the human resources functioning and related processes. Being a member of the core team she focuses on infusing trust and confidence in the team. She strives to develop a strong and vibrant human resource base for the organization.
Mr. N Lakshmi Narasimhan Finance Manager Mr LN as he is fondly called by his colleagues started his career as Accounts Officer with Orient Longman. Later he worked as Asst. Finance Manager with Gati Logistics and was deputed to Mediciti Hospital where he worked as AGM for a long time. He also served Hyderabad Public School as Accounts Manager for 2 ½ years. Overall, Mr LN has a total experience of 25 years in the field of Finance and Accounts.
Dr. Govind Bansal Senior Programme Manager Dr. Bansal holds a Bachelor in Veterinary Sciences and an MBA in Health Management. He has a profound experience of working in- the Planning, Monitoring and Implementation of Child Health (IMNCI and RI), STIs and Maternal Health (MAPEDIR) in MP, Maharashtra and Gujarat while working with Population Services International (PSI) as Communication Training Specialist and UNICEF as State Consultant. He was also involved in various kinds of Income generating activities for SHGs, planning and finalizing of District Health Action Plan under NRHM for Indore and Jhabua districts in MP and various other activities while working with Agrani- an NGO in MP as Executive Director.
Mr Ch. Prabhakar Consultant- NRHM As a social development professional Mr Prabhakar possess rich and varied experience of over three decades in the formulation, design, implementation and evaluation of projects related to children, women and young people. He has been involved in HIV/AIDS issues for more than 10 years, of which the focus is on designing various prevention strategies for youth. Mr Prabhakar has attended series of intensive training programmes organized by institutes of national and international repute like, Commonwealth Youth Programme –Commonwealth Secretariat-London, International Youth Centre (Viswa Yuvak Kendra), New Delhi, Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Youth Development-Siriperumbudur, Xavier Institute for Business Management-Bhubaneswar, Madras School of Social Work-Chennai, and Sevagram Ashram- Sevagram. Presently, he is engaged in mainstreaming HIV/AIDS with convergence into the general health sector, through NRHM and also providing support to SACS in strengthening the systems of administration and programme management. Dr. Ravi Kumar Consultant-ICTC Dr. Ravi Kumar has immense experience in the field of public health, especially in STI/HIV/AIDS. He has to his credit many certifications in STI/RTI/HIV/AIDS from Family Health International, Indian Association for Study of Sexually Transmitted Diseases, Population Services International, Medical Council of India, NACO and from London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, Indian Institute of Population Sciences-Mumbai. He is a Fellow in HIV Medicine at the prestigious research institute - YRG CARE, Chennai. He has worked for various international organizations like PSI (Population Services International) Hyderabad, CARE INDIA (SAKSHAM), and International HIV AIDS Alliance, Hyderabad before taking up the assignment with PHMI (Public Health Management Institute) as Senior Program Manager. PHMI has placed Dr. Ravi Kumar in APSACS as Consultant for the Basic Services Division, ICTC component for strengthening of HIV program in Andhra Pradesh. Mr. Chandra Kiran Katta Program Officer - Communications Kiran has a MA in Communication from Hyderabad Centeral University and is currently pursuing a PG Diploma in Human Rights from the same university. He has previously worked as a Freelance Director for ETV 2, television producer at CBN Multimedia Pvt Ltd, and as a Communication Lecturer at the prestigious Loyola Academy PG and Degree College. He is born and brought up in Hyderabad and enjoys reading books, writing scripts, and making short films.
Ms Namita BakshiProgram Officer - DAPCU Namita Bakshi holds an MBA in Human Resource Management. Prior to joining PHMI, she was associated with Mahidol University, Bangkok, under the Ministry of Public Health, Government of Thailand as ‘Manager – Trainings International Relations’. She also held dual position of Coordinator and Secretary for International Public Health Educational networks like SEAPHEIN, THAIPHEIN, APACPH and Tobacco Control Research and Knowledge Management Centre (TRC) - Bangkok, she has organized more than hundred international trainings, workshops and conferences on emerging issues of Public Health in South East Asia region which add to her credit and able leadership. Her interest includes Public Health Policy, Administration, Training& Development, Capacity building and knowledge management.
Mr. Raj Kishore PTraining Coordinator Raj Kishore is a Training Coordinator in PHMI. He is a graduate in commerce and has completed courses in DHA, DCA & Tally (7.2 version). He has 10 years of experience in Accounts & Administration. Raj has been associated with the LEPRA Project as a Finance Administrative Executive since 2002. The LEPRA Project focuses on Leprosy and is one of the largest organisations in Bihar. Raj has also worked as an accountant at the CARE Hospital in Vishakapatnam. He enjoys spending time with his family and cooking in addition to his work at PHMI.
Praveen Kumar R
Training Coordinator Mr. Praveen completed his Masters in social work (MSW) with medical & psychiatric social work as specialization. He was awarded with gold medal for best out going student in his batch. He started his career as a Mandal Coordinator for Ensuring Children Learn Project (NAANDI Foundation), a program aimed at strengthening present education system. Later on he worked as Communication Training Specialist with Population Services International. This job involved conducting trainings to doctors on STI and HIV management.

He is a graduate in Arts and has completed courses in NT 4 Administration, Unix and he is a core member for the HMS software (beta site) with 14 years of experience in Networking and systems administration and maintained sun spark 280R server, Prolient 400, 1000 series. Venkat has been associated with MediCiti Hospitals as a Systems & Network Administrator since 1995. He enjoys traveling with his friends and family in addition to his work at PHMI.
